Hey, what's the issue with brake checking? They're following too close and of course if someone is injured or killed, I'm sure a jury would *never* find the guy brake-checking criminally & liable, especially if there's a child involved. And who wouldn't mind their life being turned upside down just because they thought the guy was too close to them? It's the principle of the thing!

No, it did not clear anything up. I think you worded it wrong in one case the only thing that helped is the idea of having a dash cam to resolve the issue when people get way too close to me and won’t back off I’ve put my emergency flashing on sometimes to let them go by if I can. People nowadays, feel entitled to go faster than the speed limit, and they don’t like it if I stick to the speed limit.

If someone is following you at a distance that prevents them from hitting you in the case of an emergency; full on brake peddle to the floor, then they won’t ever have to worry about someone brake checking.

any insurance that believes in victim blaming is not the insurance for me or for you, if they wish to take your money and then not the contractually provided services as insurance then you should be going with someone else, read your insurance contract and get a dashcam, if they still decline your insurance take them to court and ask for 3x the amount or the value of your premiums plus damage, whichever is greater and when they see their own insurance premiums for litigation go up then they may wish to think about providing a service as they intend. Buyer beware, many scams are government approved.

Very informational and to the point, and as such I now have a question I'd like an honest answer to as follows: USAA has been our propety and auto insurance firm for 45 plus years. I am now 72. I noticed that once I went over 70, even though I am a very safe driver, have never in 35 years had any accidents or claims, and have not gotten any tickets in over 30 years that in the last TWO YEARS my auto policy for MY CAR went up over $1K per year over that of my wife who is 63 years of age and has an even cleaner record than I do. I believe it is MY AGE that USAA is discriminating against me now. TRUE OR NOT TRUE? This leads me to my questions which is: IF I REREGISTER my car which is a Subaru Turbo ino my wife's name only, putting BOTH of our cars under her (Being titled only to her) and registered to her and not me, with her as the PRIMARY driver on both cars, (since I drive so infrequently) will our rates drop, can I legally do this to avoid being penalized? What insurance options do I have? FL is just a miserable state to live in with ultra High insurance costs for autos. PLEASE HELP.

I personally have Allstate full coverage high-end. And when I went into Aaa to get a quote for the identical coverage, they quoted me $881 additional per year. I am a perfect driver and being there I started laughing and asked them to sign me up because I was looking to pay more instead of paying less.😂

I pass over train tracks and start to drive across the street that runs parallel to the tracks. The driver on that street at the stop sign hits the gas to pass infront of me. Why would it be my fault if I hit the car, they violate my foward progress and I have no stop sign. Than again the police in this city violate the stop sign all the time.

Answer is from an officer, one must maintain a safe distance from vehicle in front of you and stop no mater with out hitting stopped car in front called assured clear distance. Usually one length for each 10 miles per hour you’re traveling.

Sir, good channel but, I was a State Farm insurance customer for over 35 years and State Farm Insurance cut Me. The reason being too many claims on roadside request. Now, every auto insurance Company I change to, the first six months are fine than the last six months of the year they increase my rates. I had check with All State insurance on my Zip code regarding accidents. The red zone!!! E-commerce and Rideshare drivers! This is only my opinion. Larry

You're talking about limited collision coverage. If the adjuster determines you're at least 50% at fault, they can deny coverage even if it wasn't your fault.

Same prices climbed so I went with all state for auto insurance.

Thanks for the information. I switched to State Farm from my prior insurance company because after 26 years of no accidents or moving violations I was paying a 50% higher rate! So I am very curious as to how this system will work. Waiting for my beacon to start my Safe & Save driving 🚗

Well there not crushing it now. Took my premium up $230 w/o any claims and violations. Told me I wouldn't get a discount for trying.

I just cancelled my policy for basic liability for 2 vehicles Ohio I first paid $700 for a year the following renewal year went up to $941 and I had to argue them down to that then this year 24 months in they tried raising it to $1560!! They are smoking crack they thought I was going to pay that. They must be purposely trying to lose all their customers they aren’t stupid they know peopel aren’t going to pay these prices. They didn’t even try to negotiate or lower it even once cent I couldn’t believe it. $1560 is more then my family pays for full coverage on their brand new cars! Also I am accident and ticket free perfect record and own all my vehicles out right. I only pay insurance to be legal to drive I fix and pay cash for my stuff no usery out of me mr banker. Not sure who to call now also have to cancel my motorcycle policy they did the same thing to it also doubling the rate each year. They either purposely want to lose customers or there is a plan here these corporations aren’t stupid maybe when they lose all the customers then they will cry to the government for bail out there’s some plan in play here for them to win by losing all their customers these Zionist owned greedy companies might make terrible decisions on purpose but never be fooled they are smart and know exactly what they are doing for a reason

Allstate, literally told my sister that they would no longer accept her as a customer because she lapsed 3 days in the policy. That was crazy, she had to find a new insurance company. I guess she wasn't in good hands "as they claim". I've always learned, insurance companies are not your friends, you're not in good hands and they aren't your good neighbors.

GEICO years ago was decent auto insurance co. But not anymore. Example, 30+ years with no tickets, accidents ! A perfect record. And thats not good anymore. They just continue to raise your rates regardless. Stay away from GEICO ! ! !😒

Requiring people with under 10k value car to pay for your 80k car is the problem with liability insurance. States should cap a driver's liability and people with expensive cars pay more for underinsured - regardless of liability.
